Seniors RJ Arconado and Princess “Jazyen” Tumamao, along with alumni from the class of 2024, M.Jee Abara and Carmela Bonifacio, competed at the HOSA-Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference this past summer in Houston, TX. Their events were in Clinical Laboratory Science, Health Career Display, and Pathophysiology. Three students, RJ and Jazyen (H.C.D.), and Carmela (C.L.S.), whose events had a “Round 2” qualifier, advanced. While they all fell just shy of Top 10 placement, as a community, we can be proud of these four students, who represented Lahainaluna High School incredibly well.
Congratulations to them and their advisors, Malia Shimomura and Niko Miller. I mua Lahainaluna!!
