Advisor Malia Shimomura was awarded the Goodheart Wilcox Outstanding Advisor Award.

This year’s International HOSA convention was held at Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee on June 23rd to June 25th. The Lahainaluna High School International HOSA team advisors are Malia Shimomura and Marc Watasaki.

The Lahainaluna High School International HOSA team would like to acknowledge and give a big Mahalo to those who helped fund the student’s trip: Hawaii Pacific Health, HMSA, Roz Baker, Friends of Roz Baker, Barbara Newton, Kenny Ray Mallott, Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise, The Lahaina Yacht Club, Lahaina Carpet, Joanie and Morris Ochsner, Chanda Kiley and Jeff Roberts, Christy and Jesse Zimmerman, Laurie Dalke, Swenson Family, Dr. Joe Mescher, and B-Metal Fabrication.
