Mayor Michael Victorino encourages all high school seniors to send a three-second video clip of themselves to be included in a celebration video for Maui Countyโs 2020 high school graduates.
Deadline to submit video is Friday, May 15, 2020.
โOur high school seniors have endured a lot through this global pandemic,โ Mayor Victorino said. โWe wanted to take this opportunity to do something special for them and honor their accomplishments through a video that their friends and families can also enjoy.โ
Students should send their three-second video clip via email to [email protected]. Students, parents, teachers and staff are encouraged to share this email to their graduates.
The video will be posted on the County of Mauiโs Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts. It will also be played on Akaku Maui Community Media channels.
Directions for submitting video:
โข Type your name as it appears on your school ID and the name of your school in the Subject Line of the email. (Example: John Doe โ Maui High School)
โข Please send only .mp4 or .mov video file types.
Guidelines for video clips:
โข Graduates are encouraged to wear their cap and gown or clothes with school logo or colors.
โข Maintain social distancing by filming only yourself (unless you are with immediate family).
โข Video should be no longer than three (3) seconds.
โข Do not send multiple videos.
โข NO inappropriate clothing, language or content.
